Meet Our Pro

We’re excited to welcome Dee Geelhood as our Director of Pickleball Operations. She is a multi-time US Open medalist. Dee has earned gold in 2021 and 2023, and silver in 2024, now competing at the Senior Professional level.

After 32 years of teaching tennis, Dee transitioned to pickleball in 2019 and quickly made her mark on the competitive scene. She was first introduced to the sport in 2016 during a vacation with her dad and son, where she discovered that pickleball is a unique equalizer- bringing together generations and genders. She was instantly hooked after playing her first tournament in Royal Oak.

She is a very competitive player with a calm presence who is a respected Ambassador in the Pickleball Community. With a teacher’s heart and a passion for the game, Dee brings a wealth of experience and a contagious energy to our Club.
